The island is known to have world's largest colony of Geoffrey's Rousette (Rousettus Amplexicaudatus) fruit bats living in the Monfort Bat Sanctuary on Tambo, Babak, Island Garden City of Samal.
Pearl Farm Beach Resort. Expensive resort but worth it.
