What I mean is, my blog is entirely not patterned to other blogs who merely writes to encourage readers to leave a comment. Like I said, I just felt the need to write. And that need made me want to publish it publicly.

That is me being selective on what I wanted to show readers. But the article that I have read last night was about someone who's a star by his own right because fans/followers put him up there. Everyone is aware that when you decide to be in the movies, you've got to be prepared that your every moved is being followed because those tiny bits and pieces of where you go and who's with you is huge chunk of money for the media. Fans/followers will pay that much just to have that feel that you as the actor and your fan is close like friends (although fans don't care that much that you don't know them personally).

I look at the situation in two ways. My life is nothing compared to this actor's popularity. There's one thing common though. I decided on how my life should be, and so is this actor who decided to accept this role and both of us didn't know what the future has for us. Unlucky for me because I don't earn that much with writing and it is not my craft, and lucky him because with his role he became that popular in months and driving a new car, new apartment and lots of offers.

That decision brought us to common ground that everything starts with simpliest way of saying, "Okay I will do this." So no matter where you are at, and what you've achieved, every decision gave his fans or my readers the chance to talk about his life to others and share it, or in my case the chance for others to comment badly about me.

I think, there is no such thing as privacy. Sooner or later it will come out and you don't have the administrative power to stop it. You can do something to counterreact but it's no use because it is out there in the public for scrutiny. I prefer to call it judgement. Sounds funny but it is true.

As a fan to this actor, if I like him so much the only thing I can do is give him respect. When he want it public then he will say it. When he didn't say anything then, he want to keep it for himself.

Obama Wins 2008 US Election

Even if it is not yet time for elections, polls have started and President Obama wins through statistics. No doubt his words are so good to anybody's ear and was far very frank. He stands to what he has said, "I speak for the truth".

The first African-American to be elected to the highest position. He came from the minority so I am assuming that he has the heart to the minority as well. Beautiful week for me. It didn't tell me anything that there'll be something that will happen by mid-week. I thought I was Ok, but I was not. Neglecting something important will put you to test somehow. Humans are always hard headed. I can attest to that. I am hard headed.

Always been doing this since college. I just don't know why it has happened that way. I can either look at it as a lesson or I can stay hard headed as always. I choose to be hard headed again. If I keep telling myself I am weak then I will be weak forever.

I am not ok. I have to be ok. I will be ok.

So there I go again. Hope you'll read more of my posts soon.

Scribbling the Thoughts of a Wanderer

I couldn't just let go of this thought I had after reading a chapter tonight. It's 9:35 pm and I'm all ready to go to bed. I got to get my pen and paper, but to no avail, I left my paper clean and rushed to the computer trying to remember all the things this little nomad's brain wants to say.

I was talking to a friend this morning. Although the topic was another person, I couldn't stand not to recall it when I was heading home. I was a little grumpy with my boss, but I choose not to let it in my system for I could have ruined my day as well. I am sure it is really depressing for her that the brochure's lay out was not yet finalized. If I would decide to be grumpy and choose not to smile every time she checks in at me, I could have started the misunderstandings between us too. My friend and I, within a short conversation, led me to thinking that if you were thinking you were born to lose, then you are gonna be a loser for your entire life.

If you think you are beaten, you are beaten so bad. If you think you dare not, you don't. If you'd like to win but you think you can't, it's almost certain that you won't. Life's battles don't always go to the stronger or faster man, but to sooner or later, the man who wins is the man who thinks he can.

I am responsible to what I will become for my destiny in life will never be determined by my complaining spirits. I have no control of life's surprises but I do have control of how to deal with the surprise.

The pessimist complains about the wind.
The optimist expects it to change.
I will adjust the sail.

I have to keep working on my thoughts in life. I am responsible to have a great attitude towards something and to maintain that attitude in anything that comes my way. I don't run on automatic. You can't see no settings in me. Neither there is a setting for you life. Most often, we try to change and control things that we cannot control. It is also too seldom that we choose to control ourselves.

My world does not revolve around me. I revolve around the world I live in. In such case, I am to live with people who don't like me and who like me. The rest of the story will go along as I would have to live life and be wary of.

In a chance that this mouth will speak of heated words from the mind of a broken hearted, I do speak out what I think is right and no one will tell me that it is wrong. I live happily while others would see my way of living as hell for it is boring in their eyes. I do dream of seeing everyone smiling.

If I do not please you, then I could not think of anything else to do but to move on and continue living a life of black and white. I would not intend to keep the real me only because the internet is not supposed to be trusted. The only rainbow you'll see in me is when you know why I exist. And I exist to make others happy. If I don't make you happy, it is no longer my problem.

What I've Learned From Twitter Today

April 15, 2008

I know I started the day with a little taxi accident. I don't really have to write about it here because it's not that important. My morning with twitter was great. I think because I am beginning to made a connection with the people I follow and the people who followed me back. I guess they know who I am now.

Twitter can be for one's personal agenda, can be for business, can be for fun, can be anything I guess. You can define your own twitter page. For me, twitter is more of discovering the world through social networking. Sometimes I don't agree with tweets but I do respect those tweets as long as they give a valid reason. Although sometimes, I can't react to a tweet without reading the archive pages of the person concern for I might react in a wrong way or might send tweets that are not correlated with what is the topic. I am also aware that you can ask the person, but because I came from Asia, 80% of the time, they don't give me back answers. Since day one, I am so good with saying good morning and giving hugs. I am good at it, may it be online or offline. There are times I love to just be the constant twitter voyeur for I know when I stop sending tweets, I can learn from someone.

I was a voyeur today. I learned something from @amandachapel and @Despil conversation. Honestly, 60% of me wants to react and take the side of @Despil but that would be bias. I follow @Despil and not @amandachapel. Since twitter does not take away my choices, I choose not to follow @amandachapel. I respect her but I think my world of views against her world of views is entirely different. I respect her because that's what makes her @amandachapel.

I also want to follow the conversations of @markdavidson and @cameronreilly but the latter says he has to work. I admire @markdavidson. He asked for some proofs. I also respect @cameronreilly for saying what's on his mind. I can't take sides again for I was not able to dig deeper how and why @cameronreilly post that tweet.

It was definitely an unusual Tuesday. Hope it will be like this tomorrow.

What is it like to be a child?

The more my country tries to get itself progressive the more kids I see on the streets digging trashcans finding things to sell to a junk shop.

I wasn't born rich but sure is I can consider myself rich now since I was able to finish college and although it ain't my sweat who paid for every semesters I enrolled to that university, I was taught and brought up the right way. But what about kids these days? They are supposed to be in school but they're not in school. They need to help both of their working parents to earn more money for the whole family to at least eat three times a day.

30Hrs of No Coffee

I have been a coffee addict since college. Most of the time, I drink coffee so that I won't get to sleep for I have projects to do. Just like cigarettes, once you are hooked to it, it is so hard to take it out in your system of day to day living.

My coffee addiction is not good. I woke up 5 am and I take one cup. I don't care what kind of coffee and I don't care if they taste good or not. I just need that caffeine in my system to start my day. Then when I eat breakfast, I will have another cup. When I reached the school and before the bell rings, cafeteria first for my cup of coffee. Brings it inside the classroom and drinking it slowly till the class will end.

Soon it'll be the end of one semester. Left and right, projects are coming in. Doing this and that, until such time that I don't have a choice but to stay up till morning just to finish them all and I still have time to study. I need to maintain a grade because I wanted to be in the top 50 students in Business Management course. I did graduate in top 15 but the bad side of it, I am hooked to coffee. Taking in more than 8 cups a day. My sleeping hours starts from 2am till 8am. I am a certified addict.

Recently, I am so pressured at work and my stress level is high, I cling on to drinking coffee to make me calm. I was shivering and I don't know how to stop it. Definitely, drinking too much coffee in a day will soon make you end up in the hospital.

I survived 30hrs with no coffee intake. I am so happy. I want to make it to 48hrs.
