I just can't wait for Sunday. I love the beach, I love burning my skin, I love the water, I love the fun, I love the glasses, I love the food, I just love the beach. I'm gonna choose the green bikini top for now.

December Blog: What to Eat This Christmas That will Bring You Good Luck

In order to be lucky this Christmas and for the next year, some Chinese friends told me to eat only prawns or shrimps and some big squid. Why? You got to eat only this kind of food because they say it will bring you luck.

I didn't ask for the details because they said, to know the reasons is like throwing away the luck that was pass on to you. I wonder why is that.

As for the reason why shrimps and prawns are to be served, is because the color after cooking is orange. (This is just a wild guess. Don't put your trust on this article.)

Does anyone here knows why we should only eat squid and shrimps?

"Chi fan le mei you?" "Have you eaten yet?"

Celebrating My Cousin's Wedding Anniversary with Pancit Canton

We don't have that much money to spend an anniversary. It is not my anniversary nor my auntie's anniversary. It is an anniversary for my cousin Michelle. We just want to celebrate and I think this is the best way we can tell these guys that we love them.

I'm sorry guys but all we can buy is Satemi, partnered with bread and peanut butter.

Spro Coffee Shop

Saturday night and nothing to do at home. It is the usual weekend when an employed person like me would want to have some fun but not the noisy kind of fun. Personally, I don't like to go to bars or anything with dim lights and you can't see nothing else but guys in their best look because girls are dressed up pretty sexy. Make up and perfume and their little bags with credit card in it and some tissues and make up kit for retouch later at the bathroom.

Who would enjoy such thing when you don't drink beer at all. So, while I am making the menu lay-out for my dear friend, I tried the Ham and Egg Sandwich at Spro. Ham and Egg is so yummy and very much healthy. Vegetables are crunchy and I personally like the tomato. Good job Mike and Len.

I tried the Club Sandwich as well. Wow! One slice for me is ok. I am full. I can't eat more than that. Two slices for Ham and Egg and one slice of Club Sandwich. I need to spell that with capital letters just to give emphasis.

Oh yeah, before I forgot, I've read an article over a local newspaper and it so happened that I have read the same article over the internet. That's plagiarism! Copying from someone else's write up. Daily - - - - - - 's editor should check the work of your journalist, or are you really doing that just to make your paper thick?

Sunday Cravings

It is supposed to be a Sunday wherein you just lay there like lazy after all the hustle and the bustle of the long work week.

I would like to sleep the whole day but my mind doesn't want to, although your body wants to be lazy.

I got up, few minutes of walking outside then I get back took a shower, dressed then off to the market. Bought some stuff, go back home and cook food. I ate then I sat outside thinking what to do next. Then my stomach wants some fruits. I couldn't find that fruit. Now, I am in front of a computer making my next post.

What do you do during Sunday?

Dunkin Donuts: My Own Experience

After going through the usual daily routine of a walking marketer, I went inside the mall to get a cold drink and at the same time make myself cold. I ordered first at McDonalds, my favorite Coke Float. I asked for so many ice and sat at the corner where the AC is near and where it is colder. But I got too cold so I went out and ordered Hot Chocolate at Dunkin Donuts.

First thing you've noticed is the spelling of the "Medium" sized soft drink. Instead of "medium" they spell it "madium". Well of course it is wrong, and in marketing one of the crucial mistakes is when you commit mistakes and you know that it can easily be seen by the eye. A company's brand and image not only lies on the good choice of name but on the place you are situated, the choice of words and how you write it. There are a lot to consider but in Dunkin Donuts' sake, a simple mistake in spelling turns out to be a bad image for them. Aside from the lack of good customer service, and a clean place to eat, Dunkin Donuts has not made any corrections on that spelling and for me, it brings down their credibility.

As a marketing person, my first goal when I get to the office is to take a look at how clean the lobby is. This is the first place at MTC Academy that clients will take a look at. Second to that is if everyone is putting a smile on their faces. Third to that is making sure marketing collaterals such as flyers, brochures, tapraulins and others are clean. Even if the words are checked before they are printed I keep on reading them.

I wonder, how come Dunkin Donuts is still around? Well, they make good donuts. What do you think? Write down your comments, it will be a great thing to share not just to me but to others as well.

Lechon Hamonada

It was a student's birthday last July 1 and she brought food back to Davao from Mati. She was thinking of bringing the whole Lechon but then the skin will not be that crunchy when you have to wait 2 more days before going back to the city. She turned it into Lechon Hamonada.

I wanted to eat an early lunch and maybe buy one cup of rice and pair it with two salted egg. That I pictured to be perfect lunch on a hot Saturday. That was yummy! I have to pass that dream when this student came in with 3 Tupperwares full of some stuff and asking me at my table, "Did everyone eat lunch?". I answered her back, "No mam." "Ok! Great. I have food."

That time on that was the best lunch ever. I know I had some but it was so heavy. Thank God it was for free.

Oh! Gosh. I didn't take pictures. Damn gurl!

Trip to Talaba Joe's

Me , Xiattee and Dokie out for some talaba fun. (I did not eat any talaba, hahahahaha!!) I'd rather eat that crispy shrimps than the talaba.

All smile with Dokie- the camera man.

Xiatte and me appreciating the crispy shrimps. Nah, we were just hungry. We wanted to eat the banana leaf and the plate as well.

Still smiling. Allergies late at night.
